Hello, friends. We are heading back on the bus from NYC to Nashville. Thought we would show you a little peak into our ride home. Sorry the video is a little bumpy. “Auntie” Tiff shot it while the bus was cruisin’. The back of the bus has been turned into a nursery and I climbed into one of the crib bunks. Gracie and Bella are total roadies. This will let you see how big they are getting. I love being a singer, but this will give you a glimpse into the role I love best….mommy.
Xo,
Natalie

Off-topic, but here goes…
Does anyone know what the story is behind the song “Held”?
If so, please respond here. I’ll be tracking this thread.
Thanks in advance.
hi jeff,
i’d be happy to tell you the story behind “held”. it was written by christa wells. she had some of her closest friends lose a child. when their baby son was just two months old, he took his last breath. then another dear friend of christa’s lost her husband to cancer. this song is christa’s answer to “why to bad things happen to good people?” there really isn’t an answer, except that Jesus promised when everything fell, we will be held. hardships happen. pain happens. it’s just a part of life on earth. but thanks to christa, we are reminded that we have a promise from our Savior that we will never be forsaken, forgotten, or alone.
hey natalie grant how are you? I love held is has helped me with everthing I have been thrue. please keep me in your prayers and I will keep everyone in mine .well I hope I can come and see you at revolvetour in saint louis mo this year. Hi, Natalie…
I’m so thankful that when everything falls, I have the promise that Jesus is there to hold me. Such is the season in my life that I find myself in the midst of now.
Held…what a comfort. God gives us that gift, that feeling of belonging, that feeling of being safe when your world seems to be crashing around you.
So, my thanks to Christa for writing the song, and to you, Natalie, for delivering the message.
Held. Amen and amen.

welli have a question what is the story behind “safe” that is my fav. does anyone know!
Hi Natalie, Tiffany ,Grace, and Bella!
It was really fun on the way from Nashville to Seattle! The girls are super cute! You are an amazing band, and people! Thank you for spreading God’s word, and making us feel more comfortable about flying alone!
Kelty
P.S. Remember to give
Grace a charm bracelet, Tiffany!
hey what is the story behind in better habnds? that is my fav song
I, too, would love to know the meanings behind all of Natalie’s songs.
Please understand that I am not trying to speak for Natalie because she knows much better than I what the meanings are. Many songs, like “Held” and others do have a special meaning or story behind them. But, not every song has a story behind it, except that the songwriter was inspired by God to pen the lyrics and/or music in order to point the listener toward a saving relationship with Jesus and to bring glory and honor to Him. Or, maybe a songwriter writes a song especially for a singer because it fits her vocal range and music genre.
Whatever the stories are behind her music, I am so thankful to God for Natalie’s ministry to all of us. I know y’all are, too!
i went to a revolve tour, and i think i remember natalie grant saying her song better hands was about a little kid who was burned up pretty bad.
but i don’t remember the whole story she told us.
This is in response to Kelty…soooo great to meet you on the plane to Seattle! You are an amazing YOUNG woman! thanks for helping with entertaining the girls too!!!
God Bless in all your future endeavors (can’t wait to see your name on the BIG SCREEN!) and MUCH ALOHA too…tiffany

My ‘Relentless’ just came from Amazon, and I thought it would be a good time for me to congratulate you, since I’m such a huge fan of your music and support to great causes, like the Home Foundation.
So, I simply wanna say your CD it’s amazing - as always -, your kids are just super cute (oh, realy!), and that I totally adore Nashville, such a great place.
God be with you and your family, hope you continue doing this beautiful job and touching people’s souls.

Your girls are adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Natalie, I took my family to your Christmas concert at Grace Chapel in Mason, Ohio in Dec. 07. We loved your concert and it really put us in the Christmas mood! My 14 year old daughter remembered your discussion about “adopting” a child in another country and that is what she wants for her 15th birthday - to adopt one of these children. You made a strong impression as this will be her only gift - thanks! Could you send me the information about the group so that I can set this up? thanks and God bless you and your ministry. btw - cute kids! Mike

Natalie. I just got back from Women of Faith in D.C. a few hours ago. I was actually sitting right behind you on the floor. I just read your post about what a challenging time you’re walking through. I could tell when you sang “Held” this morning that this was more than just a song to you as you cried out the lyrics. I sensed a brokenness. “Father, strengthen Natalie. Hold and uphold her as she travels and mothers those precious babies. I also pray for strength and unity in her marriage. When her heart is overwhelmed, lead her to the Rock thtat is higher than her. Your grace alone is sufficient and made perfect in her weakness. Thanks be unto God who is able to keep Natalie from falling.” Love you. You are “held”
Hey Natalie…
Just read your message on Twitter…whatever it is that’s challenging you, please know that you’re in all of our prayers, and I hope you’re ok.
hey natalie I am praying for you I hope that you can get thrue your challenging and dont give up just take it a step at a time and know that we are all praying for you and your family well hope you are having fun with your babies and I will talk to you later bye
Natalie…
Praying for you. Please know that you have a great support group, beginning with the God who made you and gave you the wonderful ministry you now have, as well as hundreds of thousands of people who love you.
We don’t have to know the challenge you are facing. Just knowing that you are facing it is enough to get us on our knees in your behalf.
As much as you can, please try to get enough rest and eat some healthy foods. It may not be the only solution that helps, but it’s a start.
We’re here for ya, Girl.
Love,
Debbie
Hey Natalie!! you are in my prayers and i hope you get through you challenge and dont give up!:) I hope everthing is ok!!
Praying for you girl!
We love you!
Hey Natlie,
I just wanted to encourage you this week! I remember seeing you for the first time several years back in Charlotte at a revolve tour event. My husband is the youth pastor at our church and I love going to all the cool conferences/events. I have struggled with self image for some time now, and I remember sitting there listening to The Real Me song, I begin to weep, I mean SOBBBBB like a baby. For the first time, it had hit me, I didn’t love me and really had no idea who I was in Christ! I started a Seminar at our church “Searching for the Beauty Within” This is our 6th annual event, and I know this year is going to be over the top! I just wanted you to know how much you have inspired me to look at myself through the eyes of the very ONE who created me! I love my teenage girls and I pour my heart and life into them weekly! Please pray for this year’s event. September 13th here in NC! Thanks again and be encouraged!!
THE GENEROUS PROSPER AND ARE SATISFIED; THOSE WHO REFRESH OTHERS WILL THEMSELVES BE REFRESHED.
Proverbs 11:25
Being a twin myself, I sorta am fascinated with multiples. I work in an elementary school that has over 800 kids ~ you’re bound to have twins in a group that size but we have a set of triplets and another set that moved on to the middle school. I seem to understand them in a way that the teachers don’t. Believe me, you will not understand everything that these two cuties will do or say, but I know you will love them with all you have and then some. My mom used to say, and still does, that my sister and I had our own language. I had to interpret for my mom and my sister did the same. Watching old videos, I can see that. So keep taking videos! You never know what you will record! To this day, my mom will not understand what my sister is saying, especially to me, and I’ll have to tell her. She just shakes her head and walks away. But seriously, I’m working on the rest of my family and really understanding what God wants from us and the life He has for each of us. I grew up in a military home so we were always on the go. Music was one of my few constants that I had. It is as much a part of me as my right foot. When I stumbled upon Christian music, I was in a bad place. I can’t say how thankful I am that you sing the songs you so. I’ve blasted I Will NOT Be Moved in my car as a reminder when I stray. Music is one big way I hear God. Your music is definitely a part of that. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping to save my life. You are such a tool of God’s, and I don’t know you know the extent that you affect people for the good. I could go on about other songs but I don’t think I’d have enough space!
One day, I really hope to be able to see you in concert. That would be a dream come true! The only way to top that would be to meet you and thank you in person. I’ll keep praying for that! Take care and keep crankin’ out the music. You have two beauties there!
NATALIE, ARE YOU PREGNANT?
Awwwwwww so cute!
Natalie,
Enjoy it while they are little. They grow-up so quick.
Love,
Sara
P.S. Nibble their cheeks for me.
Natalie…I just found your website from your myspace page bulletin. I have always loved your music, but now I feel a true “bond” with you. I also have twin girls. They are identical and just turned 2 on June 20th. Aren’t twins the neatest thing? I do have to say that the first year with twins is a killer, but wow, I think everyone should get to experience twins. I have a long story that I won’t tell here, but my twins are my miracles. Medically, none of us should be here, but GOD had other plans for us and a testimony to give.
I have to tell you a very sweet twin moment that just happened tonight. Savannah started sneezing and having a runny nose today. Well, tonight, Olivia started too. I had a kleenex on my laptop tray and Savannah sneezed. Olivia picked up the kleenex and wiped Savannah’s nose. It was the sweetest thing!
Well, I just had to write and tell you that!
Love and hugs,
Julie
they are beautiful y’all made some wonderful looking kids. enjoy them while you can i can’t believe how fast kids grow. it seems like you bring them home one day and the next day they are gone. (i dont have any, but one day i will. for now i have lots of friends and cousins and children’s church) all you can do is love them, pray that you raise them right, and trust God to help you along the way. They are beautiful and remember to cherish the little moments (like that,) because one day they will be the big ones. I am not sure who said that right now, but it is true. Have a great time be safe and may God bless you all. sending my love. tabby
